Ego Ceaduuala rex cum coniuge mea Kenedritha concedo tibi pastor Theodore archiepiscope et familie ecclesie Christi in Dorobernia terram iuris nostri nomine Geddinge et Uudetun, scilicet terram .iiii. aratrorum, pro spe salutis eterne, liberam ab omni seculari seruitio, exceptis expeditione, pontis et arcis constructione. Si quis eas a iure predicte ecclesie auferre conatus fuerit, nisi Deo et hominibus satisfaciat, perpetuo anathemate feriatur. Ad cumulum autem confirmationis ego Ceaduuala cespitem predicte terre super sanctum altare saluatoris posui, et propria manu pro ignorantia litterarum signum sancte crucis expressi et subscripsi.
