    • [E]go Godwinus et Wlfgith, concedente et consentiente domino meo rege Eaduuardo, donamus ecclesie Christi in Dorobernia aliquam partem terre iuris nostri nomine Stigestede et Coggashaele in Eastseaxa, liberas ab omni seculari seruitute, sicut ego a prefato domino meo rege Eaduuardo et a patre eius hactenus tenui. Si quis eas a iure eiusdem ecclesie abstulerit, auferat ei Deus gloriam suam.
