Ego Ceneuulfus rex, rogatu uenerabilis archiepiscopi nostri Athelardi, do uicario munere terram .xii. aratrorum ubi dicitur Tænham ad metropolitanam saluatoris ecclesiam. Hanc autem munificentiam ob id maxime reddo, quia idem archiepiscopus gratia recompensationis terram .xiii. aratrorum mihi dedit in loco ubi dicitur Creges æuulme, quam uidelicet terram Offa rex olim dedit cuidam comiti suo nomine Ufa. Hanc itaque donationem ego rex Ceneuulfus liberam ecclesie Christi concedo ab omni seculari grauitate, exceptis expeditione, pontis et arcis constructione. Huic donationi nostre qui obuiare presumpserit, cum hedis a sinistra Christi in die iudicii inueniatur.
