    • (a) Regnante in perpetuum Domino nostro Iesu Christo per immensa quadriflui orbis clupeam. Anno eiusdem incarnationis millesimo .v. indictione .iii. Ego Æ∂elred rex Anglorum cum consensu eiusdem gentis episcoporum uel principum, pro redemptione animarum nostrarum et pro sospitate necnon et regni nostri quandam ruris portionem hoc est [..] manentium æt Ofre ad episcopalem sedem qui dicitur Deowiesstow plena mentis deuotione humiliter perdonabo in sempiternam hereditatem. Pax seruantibus et custodientibus hanc nostram donationem; contradicentibus uero sit dampnatio nisi ante hic emendauerint. Ego Æˇelred rex Anglorum hanc meam elemosinam propria manu confirmabo. (b) Regnante in perpetuum Domino nostro Iesu Christo anno eiusdem incarnationis millesimo quinto ego Æˇelred rex Anglorum cum consensu eiusdem gentis episcoporum et principum pro redemptione anime mee quandam ruris particulam æt Ofre concedo ad episcopalem sedem æt Dewiesstowe trium hominum spatio dierum.
