    • In nomine Dei summi et salvatoris Jhesu Christi . Agonista sanctæ prædicationis ortator talem protulit sententiam dicens . 'Omnia nuda et aperta coram oculis Dei' 1 et a luce prima usque conticinium uniuscujusque actus prospicit . Ideo ego Eaddredus rex Anglorum ceterarumque gentium in circuitu persistentium gubernator et rector . dedi cuidam meo hoc vocitato nomine Wlfheah . unam mansam atte Langeforth eatenus ut hoc diebus suis possideat tramitibus vitæ suæ . et post se cuicumque voluerit heredi derelinquat eternaliter . maneatque prout jam prædixeram donum istud ab omni seculari servitio exinanitum cum omnibus ad se rite pertinentibus campis . pasturis . paschuis . exceptis istis tribus . expeditione pontis arcisve constructione .
